Whoa, on the spot, man. I mean if I don't write something witty, intelligent and articulate immediately, I'll be seen as a farce to anyone who reads this. And yet, what if I write something amazingly wonderful, only to find out that no one of consequence actually reads these? Isn't that just the irony? To write a biographical masterpiece about a boy from the cultural gulag that is West Texas who escaped to cultural babylon that is Southern California, only to wind up in vortex of illiteracy that is called North Idaho; would be less difficult if I wasn't so self-absorbed.

My story is very interesting, mostly because I have made it so. I love stories and often make my life into one, even though the facts are mundane - I was actually too scared to become a stuntman, or pursue writing as a career directly out of the chute, so I've tried to stumble along in a Steinbeckian pinball machine, going from job to job and meeting (and marrying) some very interesting characters along the way.

Well, now it's time to have all that experience pay off. I am writing everyday - a trite, overwrought, and self-righteous spiritual fable. It is tongue-in-cheek yet with a hopeful, no-bullshit message - mostly because I DO know how the world should live and don't mind saying it.
