For 20 years I have made most of my writing income from editing newsletters. Been editor or editor-in-chief of a good number of them, including Working Smart, Executive Strategies, Personal Report for the Professional Secretary, Corporate Reports and The New York Opera Newsletter.
I have also written a lot of books. Most recently Good Stress, Bad Stress (Marlowe Books, 2002). I have also written collaborative books, including Simple Steps (with Dr. Arthur Caliandro, McGraw-Hill), Take Control of Your Life (with Dr. Richard Shoup, McGraw-Hill) and Multicultural and Ethnic Marketing (with Alfred L. Schreiber, NTC Contemporary Books). I am currently working on a few book projects. First The Othello Response, a book on obsessive jealousy (with Dr. Kenneth Ruge, for Marlowe Books) and Lost and Found (with Dr. Arthur Caliandro for McGraw-Hill). I also wrote and edited about ten shorter books while I was senior editor at the National Institute of Business Mangagement.
My general luck has been to establish a base income as a newsletter writer/journalst and then layer some book-writing on top of that.
Interests: Self-help topics, the arts, as well as mainstream business book-writing.
