Well, let's see. I have been a professional software developer for many years. I have toyed with the Idea of writing a "regular" book. My wife happened to find some words that I put down on paper and loved them.

She pestered me for many a day to finish the story, one thing led to another and I have been writing as much as I can since then. That was in November of 2001, since then I have put down about 16,000 words, at least words that I have kept.

As for style, from the people that I have sent my beginning book to, they compare it to Stuart Woods. I don't really know what they are talking about, but I have had one thread in all my writing, which is "keep it up, we want more!"

So that brings me to now. I have been working in a vacuum, at least in regards to professional publishing. I wanted to get a more "real world" feed back and this looks like the place to do it.

One other note, during this push from other to write, I found out something that I never knew about myself.

I love to write more than anything else. I would love to do nothing but write.

Living in the world that we live in today that's not an option for me. At least not yet.
