My areas of expertise include astrology, counseling, spiritual growth, Jungian analysis and its applications to life in general. I also write about higher education, particularly the experiences of teachers working overseas. My published works were formerly mainly academic (applied linguistics, language teaching, cross-cultural studies). I teach writing courses for post-graduates and have done research using both quantitative and qualitative methods. I have helped others publish their works including translation, ghost writing and copy editing. (I speak Italian.) I am interested in both full-length book projects and shorter assignments, including articles about travelling and living in South East Asia and Thailand. I will work for royalties or on a work-for-hire basis. My favorite writers are Paul Theroux, V.S. Naipaul, Norman Mailer and Lawrence Durrell, all of whom have influenced my development as a writer.
