My name is Cassandra. I am 25 years old and I live in Concord, NC. I am an unpublished writer, but I don't really write to get published. Publishing is something I aspire to but I write for me. I don't think I would be half as happy if I didn't write for the joy of it. Writing, and sharing what I write is important to me. To understand me is to read my writing. I am not going to write the next great american novel, but I would be happy with a few romance novels. Something that brings happiness, if just for a moment, in someones life is what I want.
I grew up moving around many times due to the job my father held as a construction worker. The only skills he had was as a laboror and I think deep down he enjoyed it. We never really could afford many books or movies so I made up stories for myself. I kept a journal with all the stories that my wild about reading heart could come up with. I still have that journal, and read it sometimes. I hope to pass it down to my kids if I ever do have any. I am not married, so I live the life of a single woman in this day and age. And I must say that it is interesting. A young woman has got to have some brains to get by and some common sense to go along with it.
Well, I am a temp. secretary and that is not a wonderful job but it is an interesting one. I meet so many different people and come across so many different situations that just make you shake your head.
Dating is something that is beyond me. I don't think people date anymore. I think it is more like a competition. I make more money than you, I drive a better car than you, I have seven kids, blah blah blah. It's not about getting to know someone anymore. It's just so complicated and steril.
Well, that is all I think I will write for now. I know they said that we are supposed to show off our writing during this biography but, lol, my writing is much more fun than my life. Thanks for reading this though! Interests: I love writing, I find it one of the most enjoyable things to do with my time. I also love to read, I have, on more than one occasion, found myself reading the back of a cereal box.
