Well, what can I say here, really? Thanks to my unique outlook on the Universe, and everything else, my work can seem to be either completely unique or slightly not. Really, it depends on how you look at it. I try to learn as much as I can. I've been writing for several years now, I have several works that are close to done, several in the works, and I love writing anyway. I've been trying to get my first novel published for some time now and would be thrilled if it happened, but I've also learned a thing or two about waiting for things that aren't certain. The world is full of uncertainties, but I try not to be one, unless you're reading something I've written. English teachers love the way I work, and history teachers that like mythology. I've been studying Wicca for about 6 years now, as well as Paganism, and have practiced it for roughly that long. I've been building computers for...has it really been 7 years? I think it has, actually. The problem with technology is that it keeps moving fast, almost like music. I've been learning music for 8 years now and am currently in a local band playing trumpet. I play several instruments and am classically trained. Did I mention that no matter how many things that fall under the loose category of "Bio" I fill out, I never really know what I'm going to say until I do? Anyway, this is about my skill as a writer. Once, someone gave me a challenge writing. It was an English teacher, actually. She said, "Do this the way the rest of the school is and see how it works," even though it was not the way I even come up with a story and I couldn't think of how I could fit everything I had into a short story, follow the structure of the assignment, and still make it worth being proud of. I handed it in three days before it was due because I had a mess for a backpack and didn't want it ruined or lost. It was the largest assignment turned in, but then, Stanwood isn't known for its English department. Somehow, I still managed to leave in enough suspense to fit the bill, enough comedy to suit my style, and enough of the actual horror element to both fit the assignment and my style. I don't even know why it worked, really, but it did. Everyone in the class liked it, and some of them hadn't read anything beyond their favorite "model's" bust-size in over two years. Of course, it was still clean enough to be turned in and far enough away from any guidelines for me to not have to worry about it. The next year, another teacher I had got wind of my writing, heard I wanted to get published. His challenge was similar, but with a much different style to it. I had to use the structure of a classic myth. I was also reading a really great book based on the Arthurian myth cycle and the sequel, though I didn't have the third and will probably not find it in the near future. I learned several important things. The style I tried to integrate along with that story was something I either needed much more practice with or should probably leave to the person who did that, and sometimes using the right word means an extra sentence so that people don't think of a claymore as only a mine when it was used as a sword. The point is, I can take criticism. Actually, I can take blatant insults better than most people realize. I love a good challenge I can get into and constructive criticism is meant for improvement. Meeting a challenge is one thing, coming away better because of it is even better. Now, if you want a sample chapter of my first novel, Twisted Fates (unless there's some other book out there by that title, in which case, I'll change it), just E-mail me and ask. If you're an agent, I'd really like to hear from you. If you're a publisher wanting to put out my book, that's great. If you feel like suggesting anything, hey, that's what they invented the word for, right? Go for it. Thanks.

Interests: Writing, CG art/animation, video games, movies, music (both listening to it and playing it myself), and whatever I get into that week.
