Kathy Krantz Stewart has a BA in Music Education from Combs College of Music in Philadelphia where she was voted "Campus Queen." She is a graduate from W.B. Saul School of Agricultural Sciences in Philladelphia. She taught piano and other instruments for 15 years. Kathy is a publisher of a science-fiction magazine, The Trekker News & Views. She has interviewed such stars, writers, directors and producers as Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock) from Star Trek, Director: Robert Wise (Sound of Music, etc.), most Star Trek, Alien Nation, Sliders and Babylon 5 stars, Tracy Torme, Chris Carter (The X-Files) and many others. She has been invited to pitch stories to Star Trek. Many of her interviews were republished in several languages and magazines such as Starlog Magazine.
Kathy is a union actress and a member of SAG, The Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA. You can see her in Spiderman, Trickle with Theodore Bikel, The Govenor Series and Film, Master Race From Mars a 35mm feature film she and Colin produced. Play productions include The Odd Couple, Dolphin's Song, A Few Good Men, Final Placement, Streamers and others in Hollywood. She was awarded "Best Actress" for Final Placement and Dolphin's Song. Kathy and Her husband Colin transcribd her screenplay, Dolphin's Song , to play format and it was produced in Hollywood. It was voted "Best New Play" at the Barnsdale Theatre in Hollywood. She has written many Children's books besides Rani, The Ugly Dogling, including Growl, The Alaskin Wolf-Dog, Delbert's Surprise Dive, Can You Whistle?, Victor, The Dinosaur, Snappy The Polar Bear and others soon to be published.
