Accepted authority by the media regarding topics on the Occult and rock music between the year 1950 - '79. Recently released a thesis on the historic evidence of Blair Witch which was partly publicized in the Cape Argus, Cape Town, South Africa. Completed 550 page book "Seeker's Guide to the Rhythm of Yesteryear" (biography of various musical genres). Extremely successful launch in the UK, lauded by the likes of Manfred Mann, Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane and Dave Williams of Mellow Candle. Foreword by Keyboard wizard Duncan Mackay ex 10CC / Alan Parsons etc. Received a four star review in England’s Record Collector Magazine. The book has been listed in The Cecil Sharp House( English Folk & Dance Society) by order of OBE Sir Malcolm Taylor. It is also available at Fame Records Amsterdam, Foyles London, and Shakespeare’s Paris. During the course of Shiloh’s musical years he has built up strong friendships with members of Sting’s band, Tractor, Rick Wakeman ,Manfred Mann, Fairport Convention etc.
Shiloh also contributes to the French sponsored Vrye Afrikaan, Hippyland USA, Weekly article on Sarockdigest.com called Shiloh’s Corner and represented South Africa at the ASA Music Conference in Amsterdam. Shiloh is more well known publicly as a radio presenter on FMR 101.3Fm with a history on pirate radio stations in the seventies, namely Q Radio Gory castle Jersey isles , Love Radio Amsterdam from a windmill , and Peace Radio (Radio Hershalom) from a ship off the coast of Israel . In 2004 he was interviewed on the BBC Radio by Shaar Pillay while his book was used by actor Brad Pitt during his BBC narrative documentary of folk musician Nick Drake. Shiloh met Brad one year before his baby daughter was born ironically also named Shiloh. By 2006 things turned dark with Shiloh’s refusal to interview Celine Dion, quoting ‘she’s a diva with a fever, but not an artist’ coupled with him refusing to apologize to the Wicca group for stating that Harry Potter was a diabolical attempt by Wicca to introduce Witchcraft to the youth resulted in his quickened departure from the radio station. He ironically launched his controversial novel ‘ Witches Of Sark’ months after, bringing to light debatable conspiracy theories related to the cause of Aids , Princess Di’s so call assassination and the last whereabouts of Lord Lukin
On the other side of the coin Shiloh has also written countless articles on Satanism which were published in the South African press and interviewed on S.A.B.C regarding opinions. Ranked by Cape Argus as one of the top five unknown poets in South Africa (1993). Cape Argus poetry competition runner-up with "Heaven's last beast" (about whales)..Actively involved in Mordecai Outcry during the early eighties , jailed for two years in Jordan for treason while working for a radical Zionist group. Resurfaced in the late eighties supporting prophet Lester Bloomberg on national TV . Received strong support from Central and local government in 1987 when acting as a trouble shooter for environmental issues in the Helderberg area of the Western Cape, (targeting sky scraper flats that were encroaching on the Strand beach without any greenbelt) He also warned against seasonal change, advising Stellenbosch farmers to go inland or convert to Olive tree plantation. He was asked to leave the building promptly. Shiloh is well connected with leftist groups and ANC leaders in the government . Understated but extremely charismatic and known to get results. Close associate of Peter Jones, attorney for Steve Biko. (Shiloh known as the white fox in the seventies ) Arrested on numerous occasions in the seventies by the State of Security and interrogated at the convenience of the President. Recent runner up to the Franschhoek Bastille Petanque championships and an avid golfer, Shiloh is presently National Project Manager for Peaceforce and has the ears of various ministers……….and international rock stars.
