I am a thirty-something single woman living in a small town in Alabama, but have lived many other places in my life, like Colorado, Maryland, Georgia, Germany, and Great Britain. I went to college at Colorado Christian University, majoring in classical guitar performance, but have always loved to write as well. While in college, an idea popped into my head for a novel while vacationing in Florida, and then I got two more ideas. I finally couldn't take sitting on these ideas anymore, and so a novel was born, "The Island of Refuge", which is now through Publish America. I've also had some poetry published, and two one-act plays I've written titled "Taxi Gab" and "Get Real With Santa" have been performed at Jacksonville State University. I've started work on my second novel which will take place in East Anglia, Great Britain, based on a historical event which I have researched while living over there, and I am also working on marketing my songs. Interests: Writing short stories, prose, poetry, song lyrics, and drama. I play and teach guitar and piano, and sing my own songs at acoustic venues.
