Jennifer Rahel Conover began her working career as a high fashion model in New York and had a successful career in interior design before joining her husband in the yacht charter business. She began writing about 10 years ago and is now an award winning photojournalist specializing in travel and yachting. She is published regularly in magazines, newspapers, and in-flight publications throughout the world. She comes from a family of diplomats and politicians on her mother's side. Her first book, Toasts For Every Occasion, was published by Penguin Putnam Books, NAL Division. It is a history of toasting and a comprehensive collection of over 1,300 toasts on more than 170 subjects.

She is working now on her second book, a child/adult crossover tale about a Welsh dragon. Of Welsh descent herself she has long black hair with a white streak in the middle, brown eyes and is somewhere between Catherine Zeta Jones and death.
