Tillac, France Email: tms I was born in Washington D. C. and grew up in the Midwest. I worked in New York in magazines for four years and as a juvenile book editor in Minneapolis for six. I have published about 40 books of non-fiction: biographies, history, geography books, and the like.
In June, I am moving to an estate known as the Chateau de Pallanne in southern France, where I am helping to start up and manage a luxury resort/retreat near the small town of Marciac, between Pau and Auch, not far from the Pyrenees. The retreat will accommodate scientists, artists, academics, musicians, filmmakers, and the like. We will allow writers on a limited basis and only after a thorough screening procedure.
I would be interested in any writer/journalist contacts anywhere in France. Also, for a work of fiction now in progress, please contact me if you have any information, impressions, primary source material, research knowledge, concerning New Orleans/Civil War period. Thank you and a bientot.
