Writing was a big part of my first career in radio and TV. Then I switched to newspapers and magazines because I loved the printed word more. Then I got back the printed and spoken word when I began writing screenplays when I was 58. I've written five of them and one, "The Last Cowboy" is presently in development.
The best gig I had, besides screenwriting, was ten years of traveling all over the world playing golf, staying in nice resorts and hotels, and writing about it for GOLF Magazine. But when I woke up one morning in Morocco and couldn't remember where I was, I figured I had to come home for a while.
I've written a couple of books, an alternative health care book called "Oxycal vs Arthritis" dealing in vitamin C and exercise as a treatment for osteo arthritis. While working in golf travel I wrote "Golf For Travel Agents," a work teaching travel agents how to market golf related travel.
I'm presently writing a new book about Career Strategies for Boomers and another screenplay the plot of which I cannot discuss.
I published "First Aid For Dogs and Cat's" and sold about 300,000 of the booklets. I was also the founding publisher of "American Golf Magazine" and "Arizona Golf Journal."
I occassionaly write for "Woodworking News," "America's Greatrest Resort" webzine andother pubs and websites.
