I arrived in this world in Rockford, Illinois. At the age of two we moved to Lake County, Illinois and have lived here ,in various locations, for forty years. I love to watch people and how they react to certain situations. I then incorporate those reactions into my writing. I believe this gives my writing a more down to Earth feeling.
The biggest influence in my life for writing was my reading teachers in Junior High school. They had the class to have us read books such as: To Kill a Mockingbird The Odyssey Great Expectations Tom Sawyer. Also many short stories which included To Build a Fire, my favorite, and The Most Dangerous Game. If I had a book that influenced my life it would probably be 'Mutiny on the Bounty'. Probably because its theme is, men standing up for what is right and fair.

I have written four books to date, one of which has been published, Father and Son. It is the story of a man who dies on the way to see his son born. He then watches his family grow and mature without him. But, this is not all he does. I send him on several voyages. Up to Heaven, naturally, and then back to the beginning of time.

The next book that is finished and I am looking to have published is based on an inter-dimentional haunted house. The main character inheirits a house from her strange uncle. Only to find that it has cetain characteristics that will send her on three voyages of terror.

An unfinished book I am working on is based on the break-up of the United States and its reassembling. It has more of a secret agent flair to it and is set in the distant future.
