I'm only 64 and started writing seriously about ten years ago. I've finished three novels and have never seriously tried to be published. My third novel is the one that will one day get me off the ground.
About me: Real life started when I joined the army in 1955, The Parachute Regiment (full of ups and downs). Since then I have worked as a sales rep, sales manager and since 1970, a London taxi driver, (perhaps I became a taxi driver because I enjoy people talking behind my back and it keeps me off the streets.) I have also worked as a gaming club croupier and behind a pub bar, even run the pub for a month. I edited the London taxi trade's in house magazine 'TAXI' for two periods of four years, served on the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association Council of Management and appeared on radio and t/v as: 'A Spokesman.'
I am still experimenting with genres and all three novels have different themes: Adventure. Wild animals with people and the last, a time slip where I have joined Henry V's Battle of Agincourt with the Gulf War.
I have over twenty ideas that I am trying to find the time to work on.
Thats it, (for the moment anyway.)
Interests: Writing, of course. Cricket, Scuba diving, reading and people watching.
