Gary is a former U.S. intelligence official and diplomat who is now a freelance book editor and novelist. (Visit his
editorial and writing services web site at http://www.editsbooks.com.) With two master's degrees (foreign affairs and governmental administration), degrees in publishing and editing, and experience as a former managing editor of the U.S. government's foreign
media news agency; arts and entertainment columnist for four foreign national-level newspapers; extensive
residence in East Asia and the Mediterranean; professional drama training (at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C.);
and experience, soloist experience in both musical comedy and opera, training in Chinese brush painting, and
production work on such major motion pictures as "The Deerhunter," "The Killing Fields," "Good Morning Vietnam," and "Volunteers," Gary has a rich background to help him in his current work as a book editor.

He has edited over 100 books, mostly for established publishers, over the past eight years, including two best sellers ("Conversations with God," Book Three, by Neale Donald Walsh, and "Through Our Enemies' Eyes," by Michael Scheuer (which was first released as by "Anonymous," a senior CIA official).

Gary also is a writer of both fiction and nonfiction. His paranormal thriller, "Laughter Down the Mountain," was published as a e-novel by New Concepts Publishing
in March 2001, and the first sequel, "Retired with Prejudice" followed in August 2002. A book of short stories, "On the Downtown Mall," was published by Georgias Press in March 2002. "Finding Go! Matching Questions and Resources in Getting Published," coauthored with Carol Kluz, was published by Winterwolf in 2004.
