I've just turned 40. I thought I'd have a mid-life crisis, but I didn't. I woke up and it was just another day.
I'm a soldier by trade, have been for the past 20 years, 17 of these years are active duty Army. I'm a Major, a pilot, a maintenance test pilot, and a logistician by training and my thanks to the Army. We are currently posted in Germany.
I married my life-long sweetheart just after college. We have three fine young men for sons, ages 10, 8 and 5 presently.
I've written my first novel, and admittedly it most likely needs some polishing. What I need is the talents of someone who is willing to work with me because I might not be able to see the forrest for the trees. I can and am willing accept creative criticism. The novel I have written and am attempting to fine tune is based on a dream I had one summer night. It's about a young girl named Landy who has dreams about a little blonde haired Celtic maiden. Landy doesn't know who the little Celtic girl is or why she dreams about her. Landy grows-up realizing that she has a unique ability to "read" people. She knows things about people that other people don't know just by watching them or by listening to them. When is is all grown up becomes a personality profiler but still has the dream of the celtic girl. It becomes her lifelong quest then to discover who this mysterious girl is and why she dreams of her. Her quest takes her to Scotland and eventually to the hidden grave holding the mortal remains of the celtic girl. In the end Landy gets the answers she has been seeking.
