Currently at work on a book biography of the legendary Nicholas Brothers dance team as well as an adaptation for the screen, Paula Broussard has written freelance or on staff for various magazines such as Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher, Gusto, Commerce, Accent Travelog, Adventure West, Country Connections, Bebop and Beyond, Wine Almanac and North County Ahead, as well as contributing to newspapers such as L.A. Times, Pasadena Weekly, L.A. Weekly, San Luis Obispo Telegram-Tribune and the Country News-Press. Her book, "SLO-WEBZ: A guide to San Luis Obispo on the World Wide Web" was published in 1998.
Her screenplay "Crashing Cannes" is in pre-production with Cinewerx Films.
She has written over 50 audio description narration scripts for the blind for various television productions such as Malcolm in the Middle, The Simpsons, Boston Public, CSI, JAG, as well as for the films Road to Perdition, Charlie's Angels, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Attack of the Clones, The Grinch, and more. After completion of the Nicholas Brothers biography, she plans to return to work on another screenplay.
