I have been married for 28 years;have 2 grown children, one daughter-in-law and one grandbaby named Jordan.

I have been writing for about 12 years. My books are used by several of my collegues to teach character lessons, promote disussions and pleasure reading.

My students are given free books by earning points for good behavior and grades.
My books are written to help children learn to love to read.

I have a Master +30 hours in education. I have over
23 years of teaching experience in the Public School Systems. I have taught students ages 5-19. I am a professional Certified teacher in the areas of Physical Education, Learning Disabilities and Principal/Supervisor.

I am a memmber of the following professional organizations:
-Council for Exceptional Children
-National Educational Association
-Association for Supervisors and Administrators
-South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics
-South Carolina Writers Workshop
