My name is Christin but my pen name is Ima Chatterbox. When I was a young girl my nickname was "little Chatterbox." The name just kind of stuck with me through my schooling and I figured it was a name that might "stick" with readers as well. My husband and I live in the suburbs just outside of Philadelphia. We have 3 adorable little boys who keep us extremely busy and 2 West Highland White Terriers that we treat like children. I graduated from Temple University with a degree in Communications and Theater. I was going to be a broadway star! I just knew it was my calling. However, someone else had a different plan for me so I followed the path that led me to becoming an author. Writing is very therapeutic for me and I find comfort in writing stories that can either make you laugh or even cry sometimes. My middle son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the young age of 3 and I have found that writing about our experiences has helped us through our journey, and in turn, has helped others. I have a very colorful and bold personality and not afraid to "tell it like it is." I am currently writing my own personal memoir that relates to all of the events in my life that have led me to become the woman I am today. Having said that, I needed to get my feet wet so to speak, so I wrote a light hearted children's book that is intended to make parents and children laugh together. If it wasn't for having 3 boys the idea of this book would have never been inspired. In every way, I owe it all to them.
