Curtis Tilleraas

St Paul, Minnesota, United States

Email: Cjtilleraa@aol.com

I am an ordained priest in Christ Catholic Church International (CCCI). CCCI, which has priests in 18 countries, is an autocephalous Catholic church. That means we are not Roman Catholic and we are not under the authority of the Pope. I have also recently completed a Master's thesis on the subject of Elijah Muhammad's theology. The title of my my thesis is: This Side of Paradise: The Religious World of Elijah Muhammad. Elijah Muhammad claimed that his religion was Islam, even though he taught that: Muhammad was not Allah's final prophet; there are many gods, and none of them are spirits and none have lived forever; he wouldn't give two cents for the Allah of "old world" Islam; Fard Muhammad, a man he met in Detroit, Michigan, was Allah; that all whites, without exception, are the devil -- and that all whites (including black Christians) must and will be destroyed by the Mahdi (i.e., Fard Muhammad, a Pakistani drug addict who lived in America for many years). Elijah Muhammad also taught that the Qur'an is not the final revelation of Allah for Muslims and that he, Elijah Muhammad, was God's/Allah's final Messenger. Elijah Muhammad's disciples include Malcolm X and Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. I am looking for a literary agent who can help me find multiple markets for my thesis. I believe it could be turned into a textbook for college courses in American History, African American History, Religion and Religion in America. It could also be worked into a screenplay or television mini-series. I am a published poet who has also sold articles and screenplays.
