I am a freelance writer and editor with two years experience under my belt. I'm a mother of two small boys and have been married for 11 years. I live in southwest Oklahoma, though I've also lived in Albuquerque and Chicago through the past decade.
I got my first break into the industry by landing an editorial position with FASA Corporation, a roleplaying game company in Chicago. I spent nearly a year with them before they closed their doors in 2000, and have since gone on to support myself and my family with a freelance career in editing and writing. I am currently working mostly with publishers of roleplaying games, but I am working on breaking into the mainstream fiction market. I have a number of short stories currently submitted to a number of magazines, and I'm working on a couple of novel ideas in between assignments.
Prior to becoming an editor, I worked in software technical support for three years. I was a National Merit Scholar, and attended college at the University of Oklahoma.
Interests: Fantasy, science fiction, romance, role-playing games, music, crafts, parenting, and just about anything that can still instill a sense of wonder--which is most things, if you can only see them from the right angle.
