Simon Kitchin is an award-winning landscape photographer based in North Wales, UK. His approach to landscape photography is "getting it right in-camera" which relies on capturing the best possible natural light, so early mornings and late evenings are frequently spent "chasing the light". Autumn and winter are his favourite times to be out in the landscape with often amazing light in the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park and along the coastline of the Isle of Anglesey.
His photographs have been published in numerous magazines, books, calendars and greeting cards and his landscape photography is on permanent exhibit in several locations around North Wales. He regularly hosts landscape photography workshops, guiding fellow photographers around the wonderful scenery on his doorstep.
