Native South Dakotan, born in Elk Point, grew up in Rapid City. I've always been fascinated by the written word and particularly enjoy writing fiction since you get to create your own history. I'm a white kid, Australian and Dutch by heritage, but I spent much of my life "feeling Mother Earth" like my native neighbors.
I have one book published, a modest success titled "In Your Dreams" about the last human dreamcatcher ... A Lakota Sioux named Gray Wolf. It's a suspense thriller that has received nice reviews. I've got another manuscript completed, and two more in the works.
Writing provides a soothing relief from my daily rigors of being retired (see, I even attempt humor). I'm looking for fellow South Dakotans who have been bitten by that dastardly and malevolent writing bug.
Interests: Native American suspense thriller, historically accurate with a huge medicine bag full of fiction thrown in.
