Crystal Evans— was born in a small rural community in the parish of Westmoreland Jamaica. She is the first child of Parents, Carlene Stewart and Stafford Evans. She attended the Sterling United Early Childhood Institution at the age of four years old. She was behind in her studies due to her late start in school, by the time she was eight years old, she had moved to the top of her class at the Grange Hill Primary School. She later became Head Girl and took the Grade Six Achievement Test and was placed at The Manning's School. She went on to top several of her exams including a few national awards for Caribbean Advance Literature. Crystal's most memorable experiences growing up were playing ball with her neighbor's children on the play field and carrying water from the standpipe in the morning. Crystal continued her Studies with several certifications in literature and Journalism.
Crystal Evans has published three novels : The Barn Raiders, Night Nurse and The Country Gyal Journal
Crystal Evans is still blogging and working on several novels and book commentaries. She is the mother of a beautiful little girl.
