COLEBROOK, New Hampshire, United States

I currently reside in Colebrook, New Hampshire with my son, his wife and three children and my beloved English bulldog, Dozer. Before relocating to New Hampshire, I resided in El Paso, Texas with my husband , Lott Connell Jr who passed away in March 2014.

I met a local historian and writer in El Paso who sparked my interest in the culture and history of the area and inspired my most recent book, Las Soldaderas: Women Warriors of Mexico, available through Nook Press, Barnes and Noble online.

My first two books, Dumb Bunny and Laura the Loser, were written to inspire ad encourage children with learning disabilities and children dealing with the challenges of childhood obesity. These books are intended for fourth through sixth graders.

One of my greatest pleasures is to mentor children and I have had the honor of working for the children on my community as a member and officer of Optimist International.

I am the mother of three adult children; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
