Walterboro, South Carolina, United States Email: Palmerh@lowcountry.com My friends describe me as a well-rounded, interesting, keeper of ecclectic, sometimes useless, information. I consider myself pretty much the same. I designed my own college degree program. I have worked in a variety of positions including the military, government service, education, and the legal field. I am more at home with my computer and my thoughts that I am in large social situations. That is not to say that I do not enjoy sampling life's pleasures with my friends. I am fortunate to have a tight-knit group of diverse friends. My interests lie in people and their interactions with one another. I particularly like the eccentricities of southern culture. I pair that with my knowledge and experience in the gay community. My writing tends to fuse the two together, though I also enjoy writing character and situation pieces about all sort of situations. Most recently, I have been listening to a lot of different ideas about race and race relations in the south. It has proven to be quite eye-opening. I am seeking to get some of my work published and hope to hear from other writers, publishers, agents, and the like. Interests: Southern Culture, Political/Legal, Psychology
