Gary M. Nelson, BSC, PMP (Gazza) is a Project Manager who has worked in the Telecom and Student Information Systems sectors since graduating from Simon Fraser University (BC, Canada) in 1989. His international experience includes projects in New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the US and Canada.
Gary is a long-term volunteer, and has served as a board member with chapters of the Project Management Institute in Canada and New Zealand.
Gary has used stories and anecdotes for years to explain concepts in an easy-to absorb way while delivering training, and he has applied this to his books. While the target audience for his first book (Gazza's Guide to Practical Project Management) is primarily for aspiring or new Project Managers, his current series of books aims to introduce basic project management concepts to middle school children. The Project Kids Adventures series delivers lessons in a full children's novel format, and is aimed at children ages 8-12.
Gary is also the author of Gazza's Corner Project Management Blog (www.gazzascorner.com) and Podcast (podcast.gazzascorner.com).
Gary currently lives in New Zealand with his wife, three children, and the cat who adopted them.
