Libby Broadbent writes with a weiner dog snuggled under her shirt, looking out over a beautiful river on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, with a glass of wine on one side and pictures of her four spawn on the other. Her real job is attempting to convince hordes of teenagers to put away their cell phones in order to revel in the delights of Shakespeare, and Atwood, and the glories of the Thesis Statement. She enjoys limited success at this endeavor, but remains ever hopeful. Libby has two novels available in print and on amazon. "That Thing That Happened" is a funny story of a shocking crime, and "Indefinitely Idled" follows a family struggling with the closing of the main industry in their small Nova Scotian town.
