Waitsfield, Vermont, United States
I've published articles in TIME, Reader's Digest, Smithsonian, US News & World Report, Barrons, Washington Post, OUTSIDE, SKI, Powder, Backpacker, Yankee, Snow Country, Vermont Life, Western Horseman, and many others. My article subjects have varied widely: travel, personalities, profiles, financial, health/fitness, and others.
I co-authored the best-selling companion to PBS's longest-running series, The Victory Garden. The book was The New Victory Garden, published by Little, Brown, and edited by Bill Phillips (now LB's EIC)and agented by Donald Cutler, then of Sterling Lord. Don, a wonderful man and agent, is not representing me now.
I scripted and hosted the national PBS adventure travel series, The Great Outdoors.
