I started out writing scripts for comic books in 1989. I worked as a professional comic scriptwriter 1989-92 and wrote lots of commercial comics for Swedish comic books in several genres; from children's comics to humor, action and horror. I have written two critically acclaimed graphic novels and became the very first Swede to get an original, never before published comic published in the USA; "Black Icon," which was featured in the book Alpha Illustrated #1 in 1991.
I turned to movie journalism in 1993, when the comic book business more or less died, and have been a critic and columnist in several newspapers and magazines since then, mainly i Swedish publications, but I have also written for the English magazine The Dark Side and the American magazine Gentlemen's Cabaret.
I have been working for the Swedish movie company Solid Entertainment for a couple of years now and my first screenplay, "Fashion" (based on one of the graphic novels) has reached the latter stages of preproduction. Several other movie projects are in the pipeline. My main goal is to write commercial, entertaining movies in English with an international appeal.
I also tend to appear on television every now and then, probably because of my huge knowledge of weird things and that I tend to say strange things the hosts don't expect me to say.
In 2003, I started writing short fiction for a weekly women's magazine.
