Overview:
After working for a large publishing house, I decided to form my own company. I offer wholesome reading at a fair price --- hence, my company motto: "Veracity and Value." My first book (Net Prophet - The Bill Garrett Story) sold out. The inspirational biography of the first man to break what was more commonly known as "The Color Barrier" in Big Ten Basketball at Indiana University in 1947, the book is a must read for youngsters who seek a stellar role model. A committed Christian, and a consummate husband and father, Bill Garrett remains my hero! The Brown Paper Sack is a mystery set in verse. Written specifically to raise funds for The Schneider Children's Medical Center in Israel, the book captures the imaginations of both men and women. Founded in historical fact, the small book recounts how a chance meeting between an executive and an old man in the park completely transforms both their lives. Love To The Third Power is the first of a two-volume series of Christian stories. Replete with detail, the five stories show how one person can make a difference in the lives of others. Love between or among people is love to the second power. When you add God, you get Love To the Third Power. With it, nothing is impossible. A Bee On Your Face is my first salvo into children's publishing. Partnering with the illustrator at the paper for which I write a weekly column, I offer children the tale of Chad and how he makes friends with a bee. The hand-painted illustrations bring the bouncy metered verse to life in a story that children love to hear and to read. Sugar Creek Publishing offers the reading public quality reading at good prices! All books ship in cushioned packaging.
