Sherri Jefferson is an independent book publisher, attorney, advocate, and lecturer.
Headquartered in Georgia, Sherri Jefferson Publishing has focused on independently publishing the works of Sherri Jefferson via iBooks, Kindle, Nook, and in paperback through Amazon,
Borders and Barnes & Nobles. Jefferson’s first independent title, “Pro Bound: Do You Have What It Takes to Become a Professional Athlete,” attained great reviews and support by members of the academic, athletic and professional sports community. The book included a study guide for students and the tour reached mass audiences from middle and high schools across the country, including New York City.
Since 1995, SJ has released six self-published titles and has two titles in development. Jefferson’s writing covers different genres, which includes poetry, fiction and non-fiction works. These works cover issues of social justice and reform. SJ is one of Jefferson’s many endeavors, which involves producing and hosting her own radio show and founding the African American Juvenile Justice Project, the Law Mobile, and the Family Law Center.
Her future endeavors includes SJ becoming a premier digital publishing company for self-published authors and Jefferson plans to deliver messages about crime and justice, and family and social issues. SJ continues to grow and has attained editorial excellence, developed marketing strategies, and has established
relationships in the industry to comprehend reader and consumer behavior.
