Overview:
Pugalicious Press is a small press in New Hampshire publishing quality stories full of adventure, fun and heart. It has long been thought that dogs are color blind, but that isn’t true. Dogs can see many colors. We know there are many great books, books that may not fit into the catalogs of the typical big publishing houses. These books are the books we want to bring into our doghouse to fill our shelves with colorful covers and wonderful words. We started Pugalicious Press in order to reach out to readers: kids, parents, teachers, and librarians. To give them stories full of well-developed characters, adventure, fun and heart. Positive themes that have a positive impact on the world we live in. We want our books not only to be loved by readers but also to be shared again and again and kept on the bookshelf for years and years because the reader simply can’t bear to part with them. Being new and being small has its rewards, especially for our authors. Our authors are to us like bones to a dog, precious. While Pugalicious Press will work as a traditional small press, meaning our authors will receive an advance and royalties, the process of putting your book together will be less traditional. We want our books to be a creative collaboration between authors, artists, designers and editors. All our books available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and, for retailers and librarians, Baker & Taylor and Ingram.
