    Humor Journals/Magazines

I have been receiving positive feedback from a piece I’ve submitted to a few lit journals. But while they say they liked it, they point out that it’s not a “story” so they won’t publish it. And they’re right—it really isn’t a story. Yet it can’t be categorized as “creative non-fiction” either. It’s more of a narrative editorial, if that makes any sense. Anyway, I was thinking I might have better luck with a humor magazine or journal.

Can anyone out there give me the names (and, hopefully, web links) of some journals that specialize in humor. (Of the satirical kind as opposed to the wink-wink-naughty-naughty variety.) I did a Google search, but didn’t come up with much. There was one website that listed humor magazines and ezines, but I got so many pop-ups while on it, I got irritated and gave up.

    Thanks for any help offered.

I don't know why the links didn't work, but if you swipe and paste the site info into your browser, you'll get there.
