When do you move on to next book?

We were considering giving out an "idiot of the month" award, which would cover the lamest posts (including deep explorations into the blatantly obvious) and total ignorance of the publishing industry and writing in general. But we decided against it because Ayo pretty much beats any competition on a weekly basis.

Cathy, would you have ever got to a stage where you threw the towel in if after say five years, you were not able to publish any of your books?

It hasn't come up yet, so I haven't really pondered the question.
