    At first there was some talk of editing, but it ended up with the addition of a prologue to cover the delayed introduction of the protagonist. I was actually expecting more edits from the early conversations but they materialized. Wayne

    From the diversity of your responses, it seems as though this is a very individualized process, and it certainly helps me to know that.

    Apparently, some agents are personally involved in edits, while others are not.

    Some agents require "small fixes" before submitting, while others ask for more substantive changes.

    Steve -- your agent sounds like one in a million -- a real gem. )
