    Re: Real Agent?

    Hi...

I recently had dealings with the HHLA group in Nabraska/ After parting with $250 I heard nothing further/I have e-mailed constantly, but my communications go unanswered... can only hope they had a good lunch on me!

I have one completed book of short stories about the US from 1850 to 1997, another 2/3rds finished which is about Italy during the 1400's/likewise a novella about a strange
Motel in the Bluegrass Mountains. I have a trilogy about the Louis and Clark expedition of 1805 on the starting blocks and also a book about the disappearance of Rudyard Kiplings son during WW1...all fictional.

I cannot get an agent, no matter the e-mails or letters I send. My submissions to small publishers are greeted with a great deal of positivity but they have no money to develop anything and refer me to the Majors. With the Majors my submissions are returned with standard letters - very possibly unread, also the same with Agents.

    Any suggestions.

    Regards
    Bob Robertson
