Of all my books combined? Tens of thousands. But I've got five books, soon to be eight, in bookstores, including the chains.

Actually Fern, I meant how many books per title.

Depends greatly on the title. "Infertility Diet" (http://www.Infertilitydiet.com) (which originally came out in 1999) still sells several thousand copies per year, including several thousand to Barnes and Noble, around 10,000 per year total. "Terrorism and Kids" (http://www.TerrorismandKids.com) is pretty close to out of print; it was a small press bestseller, but now sells under a hundred per year. The Publishing Game series ("The Publishing Game: Find an Agent in 30 Days,"(literary agents and traditional publishing) "The Publishing Game: Publish a Book in 30 Days," (self publishing) and "The Publishing Game: Bestseller in 30 Days" (book promotion) combined sell many tens of thousands per year.

Besides a strong niche audience, marketing a series is definitely easier than marketing a solo title. The next two books in the Publishing Game series are due out early summer ("The Publishing Game: Syndicate a Column in 30 Days" and "The Publishing Game: Create Audio Products in 30 Days") and they're already sold to Writer's Digest Book Club. (On the other hand, "Business Lessons from the Soup Kitchen" probably isn't going to sell too many copies--but I'm enjoying it :*)
