    Re: For Beth

For the record, I have never posted on this forum if I'm a Jew, Christian, Moslem or if I'm an Alaskan Native practicing Shamanism. I have stated it isn't right for people on this forum to atack organized religion and God. That it offends the majority, paticulary when they name Catholics and Jehova Witnesses.

This debate is about insulting others' beliefs, not my faith.

And yes, it was a shock to me when someone did change my name.

    Re: For Mary

To you'se guys [I like NY accents...my book (my two chapters I mean)]:

Defamation of character or libel is not protected speech though. The threshold of proof is on the accuser. I'm just reading the Black's Law Dictionary right now (at shhh...downtime at work...our little secret...wink!). I am writing a legal thriller so what is to be expected right? The attorney I have been working for thinks my writing is funny. No matter how hard I try to edit it out...the humor is still there. Can legal thrillers be funny too? I think it it a blast to study law...I'll check for Beth stating her religion and find that for you. I tried a few days ago and could not get through to you either at info@writer.net or whatever it was I typed in. Just a comment: my book has no title. I can't make up my mind. Maybe I am just a wanna be writer?

Jared & RSBA sure did the same exact thing don't you think Travis? You know the "R" word? I am a legal secretary for a...lawyer...I hope I am not guilty by association...am I? I have been trying to write this darn novel for 4 years now. Has anybody else taken that long too? Just wondering...blah...blah...blah!

    Re: For Mary

My E-mail did not come through as being from yahoo...my attorney uses...Ugh!...AOL...that is worse than working for an attorney...isn't? Ha...ha...ha...! My attorney loves bad lawyer jokes...He is actually a great guy...for a lawyer! See I told you I cannot stop this humor thing...maybe I should write a funny book? Anybody got any ideas?

This is the bar I see...oh well...if you click the link on my name...E-mail address is there: Reply To This Message from Janet Speedo (janetspeedo@yahoo.com)

    For Janet

Janet, were your last two posts directed to my attention inadvertently? I'm not certain why you were telling me what you did and/or how you wanted me to reply. I will say, though, that I think legal issues can be humorous. Examples are some of the Eddie Murphy plots.

    Re: For Janet

Yes. I am so sorry Mary...the medication I am on for my back pain makes me drowsy and somewhat out of sorts (in a good way). I am not going to take anymore of this Flexeril stuff. By about 5:30 I was ready to go sleep but I was given a legal brief to type up and I am having to stay late. I finally finished and here I am. I am not sure who I was writing to...I just saw an interesting spot to comment on and you got the whit of my wisdom or the wisdom of my whit. I just read about someone named Norman and his medicine...maybe I should have written him then we would have zombied together? I am blonde (dishwater). Yes a dishwater blonde working for an attorney and on medication...hum...beats that Redrum plot line! I am going straight to home and to bed. I hope my next post is better.

This weekend I'll have to check out the Eddie Murphy (legal movies?). Can you give me the name of just one of them? Right now my mind is running blank...geez I wonder why? Feeling groovy baby! Peace!

    Re: For Janet

You two....tutut. But out of curiosity Janet, let us know about your predilection to clear spirits?

Does Beth know she can change her name when she logs in?
And when you post you can backspace over the auto typed information!? I have altered my info to show the ease of this. Then I think the p.c remembers your last used name as a cookie, to save you re-typing. I hope this helps you Beth. It may indeed have been an inadvertant occurance.

    Happy writing all.

    Jenny
