    Creating a Fantasy Map

I have created a map for my new novel, which I will mention in the appropriate place in the forum. The main page of the website I used is http://donjon.bin.sh . This site provides ideas for plots, characters, goals and several other things you may want in your story. The map maker is at http://donjon.bin.sh/world. It is a wonderful tool and the map you create can be saved to your computer and opened in Photoshop to modify it as you like. Here is a small sample of my map. Hope people can make use of this.

Interesting resource; thanks for sharing it. It does seem to take a fair number of tries to get an interesting landscape, though, one that doesn't have a large blob of land beside a large blob of water. Did you zoom in on a section on yours (which reminds me of a distorted version of Europe and the Mediterranean), or just get lucky?

The one I show is the middle section of the world map. It shows the country that my story takes place in. If you go to my www.kscrooks.com you can see the entire world map.
