Do you put your genre in?

I usually just have my genre specified in my query letter.

Once the ms is requested, the cover sheet has Name, Address, Email, and Phone, as well as word count, title, and author. The top of each sheet has my name and the ms name and the page #.

Is there somewhere you're supposed to put genre? In all these years, I never have, but now I'm wondering...

    Thanks!

Yes, agents do want to know into which genre does your manuscript fall, especially those who represent several genres. Usually I would put it in the same sentence as the title and word count, i.e. My manuscript, Loss of Sanity Due to Writing Query Letters is a 250 word Contemporary Fiction. LOL

But that's how I did it, or something similar.
