Pasting sample pages into Windows Live Mail

With Office 2003 and Outlook Express I could click the email icon and email the query and attachment with the format preserved. Now with Office 2007 and Windows Live Mail it only gives me the option of making it an attachment, which of course is a no-no. I've seen threads suggest using notebook and pasting that into an email but I wonder if there's an easier way. My work laptop uses Outlook but I don't want an agent clicking reply to that address. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance -

I use gmail and cut and paste the docs into the email. It does a pretty good job of keeping the format. I've tested gmail subs with yahoo, outlook, and my local provider. The only weird thing that happens is gmail sometimes adds an extra space between lines of text. So far, no one has complained, though.
