    dying....

    Just a little something

    dying .....

suffocating in irrelevance

wasting in disconnect

    losing against control

    mind shrinking

    no thoughts worth considering
    heart souring

    no love worth fighting

    smiling through
    novocaine existence

withering to nothing
    significant to him

This read more like a suicide note than a simple dying epilogue. Was that your intent?

OH NO! Cindy lol, it's not a suicide note nor really a dying epilogue. Well the dying of ones spirit (mind, soul, heart), not body. A past, controlling relationship can cause you to feel this way. Too heavy, huh? LOL

No, no - I can see both. My mind was set on the physical while reading, though, and I kept thinking of this poor woman who is getting ready to end it all because her man is a schmuk. Sinking into a severe depression, however, is also obvious. It covers it all!

The "significant" to him really made it sting. Told me exactly what is going on here. I so saw it as a relationship gone bad, and in the end it was because of either a controlling person or clingy. But because usually clingy people don't make you depressed so, yes, I thought controlling. So sad.
