http://www.sxc.hu/help/7_1 This should link you to the TOS. Always, of course, do your own due diligence. As far as I can see, they are free, it even says so in ALL CAPS within the TOS. Now, they are "sisters" to istockphoto.com which does charge, but as far as I can see, these guys are free. They advertise this on their home page.

Jena, because their "sister" site charges, when you do a search it gives you photos from both sites relevant to the search. They split the screen between istockphoto, and xchng.com photos.
