Would you be concerned if you had a 105 degree body temperature or would you just think it was normal?

Mental + physical = apples and oranges.

Paranoia isn't being overly concerned with what other people think. Paranoid is when you're convinced your toddler children are trying to kill you, so you try to kill them first as a way of self-defense. At least that's the type of paranoia I deal with on a daily basis.

I assume I would not feel well if I had a temperature of 105. I am concerned any time I don't feel well. But I'm not concerned about the number and whether or not it has something to do with "normal" as you are defining it. I'm concerned about not feeling well.

Jena, what you describe is a high degree of paranoia. Do you think someone can have that condition at a lower level. For example, thinking everyone thinks you're fat or ugly? Isn't that also paranoia at a lesser degree?

I understand what you're saying Leslee. I don't believe in normal either. Just using the word to make a comparison.
