    Any doctors out there?

If a patient was brought in to you for sudden blindness that would not end, what would be the immediate actions taken? I'd assume an exam of the patient's vitals/eyes would occur, but are there any specific things that would happen?

    Thanks for any available info.

I'm not a doctor, but I know they'd call in an ophthalmology consult (probably first) to rule out problems with the eyes themselves, and then a neurology consult to rule out problems with the brain.
