    I wrote this last night. It's a little looney. Not sure where my head was at. lol Here it is.

    Sitting in a sea of silence
    Emptiness cuts the darkness like a knife to the soul
    Shadows dance on the wall.
    Smirking and snickering,
    With their noses turned up.
    Touch is what I desire.
    It burns in the depths, beneath the blackness
    It waits to unfold.
    Dance shadows dance.
    Rejoice and be merry.
    Keep my company,
    Until dawn settles over the land
