    Good Morning, erotica does not have the relationship boundaries that define romantica. The characters in erotica can and usually do have several partners, sometimes at the same time! I think it encompasses threesomes, orgies, S&M, etc. None of this is acceptable in romantica. I think chick lit has the same guidelines as romance does, but I can't say for sure, since that's not what I write.

    i really don't understand why something should be labeled, unless directly written to fit and support a genre. my works go under the fiction label, although there are elements of horror, sc-fi, fantasy, mystery, romance, and hopefully comedy, how would one classify this (other than a certain vulgarism that is a universal word in the english language which is often brown and odiferous, thank you critics)?
