Survey monkey is just the website hosting his survey, It's not spam. Students, conducting research, often use websites, like survey monkey because they offer free hosting. I know, because one of my fellow classmates used a similar website for a marketing class we were taking. It's a completely valid request and it's also a great help to students. I investigated the survey, and found it's only 10 questions long. A majority of the time, yes, some unscrupulous people use this board for spam, but other times request are genuine, all he's asking for is that you take a moment to distinguish between the two.

I suppose, in hindsight, that the way i posted the original survey link does look a bit suspicious! So i don't really blame people for being skeptical and avoiding it!

I am, however, In desperate need of survey responses! Project planning report deadline is Thursday - 2 days! So I'd be really grateful if anyone with a couple minutes free could complete the survey!
