Project Home Improvement challenges all creative thinkers to our quarterly writing contest!! We are a charitable, non-profit organization whose mission is to build pride and self-esteem by providing interior enhancement and beautification services to the homes of low-income residents of the Greater Houston community. It is a fact that aesthetic home surroundings stimulate positive thinking, which in turn promotes good health.

Tell us in 100 words or less (your own, please) why Project Home Improvement's mission is so valuable to the Houston community. One GRAND PRIZE winner will receive $500 cash along with essay publication and byline in Project Home Improvement's upcoming brochures and promotional items.
